What a crazy season! It is hard to believe we have been on lockdown for almost three months. Like you, we try to stay encouraged when normal life has been turned upside down. Like you, we continue to pray and look for creative ways to love and serve others in this season. There is so many things we would like to do, so many people we would like to see, but we pray, take steps and go where the Lord leads. Like you, we have online meetings, worship, church, prayer and bible studies. Like you, we can't wait to have get-togethers with our friends and family. Like you, we mourn the loss of friends or loved ones who are far away. But…. God is ever present, unrestricted, and forever faithful!
Ministry during a Global Pandemic
Though there has been a decrease in face-to-face outreach and meetings, there has been an increase in online worship and prayer, bible studies and discipleship training. Talk about church outside the four walls. God’s Word is not bound! It may look a little different than we are used to, but God is not limited by COVID-19 and neither are we!

Meet bi-weekly with two young and two new believers having bible studies, discipleship and prayer. There have been Holy Spirit baptisms, prayers for healing, deliverance from nightmares and co-partnering with witchcraft, and for barrenness. These young but mighty men are so hungry and thirsty for God! They are having bible studies of their own, reaching out to their community.Beruit
Two people from our team are having online Zume' Discipleship Training via Zoom with 18-20 Kurdish believers in Beruit.AMT
School has continued throughout the lockdown via Zoom, but the students are now meeting face to face again.Aid & Relief
With some extra funds, we were able to help 13 Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian families. One Lebanese family had been without work for several months. This is not uncommon here even before COVID-19. The man's wife had been sick for months; sadly, within a few days of receiving the funds, she passed away. They were so grateful to receive this money at this time to take care of her funeral expenses. Another family didn’t want anything for themselves but requested funds to help those around them. Beautiful generosity at work. We feel like it is a drop in the bucket with SO MANY needs around us, but, we do what we can with what is in our hands!
I (Lisa) have really been able to focus a lot on language learning during this season. I am grateful for my language helper’s willingness and capacity to continue lessons online. Definitely feeling some growth in this season.
I (Bassam) want to thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement when my mom passed away. The hardest thing was not being able to travel to Jordan for her funeral. She was born in Lebanon and I have sisters, uncles and extended family here, so we were able to gather in her hometown and receive condolences.
Please reach out and let us know how we can be praying for you.
Please Pray
Life for Lebanese people and a greater openness amidst severe economic crisis
Continued creativity in serving others
Continued health for our family, friends and mates.
I (we) thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now...
- Philippians 1:3-5
